Introduction

The Lake Shawnee Trail has been constructed to serve as a multi-purpose trail that connects activity areas in the park, serves a variety of user groups, join adjacent neighborhoods and a planned regional trail. >>Read More


Primary Trail Loop


The primary trail loop encompasses Lake Shawnee Park. This loop serves as a destination for the Shawnee/Topeka Regional Trail System and will connect to the Deer Creek Trail that enters the park at the northwest corner of the park. The primary trail consists of a 10’ wide concrete stand-alone pathway capable of accommodating a wide variety of users including bicyclists, skateboarders, runners, and walkers.
